Ronald “Bones” Eugene Wyss, 72 of Salem passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Pleasant View North. Ronald was born in Salem on August 10, 1939 the son of the late Woodrow Wyss and Bernice (Berger) Woolf. He worked in the West Branch School District as a custodian and enjoyed golfing. Bones was a member of North Georgetown Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Survivors include his daughter Rhonda Swindell of North Georgetown, two sons, Darren Wyss of Portland Oregon and Lance Wyss of Corvallis, Oregon; 2 granddaughters, Makayla Swindell of North Georgetown and Paige Wyss of Lisbon; a brother Lee (Faye) Wyss of Sebring. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday May 30, 2012 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with The Rev. Carolyn Wagar Hier officicating. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday the hour prior to the service.
