Ronald Leigh Haynes

Ronald Leigh Haynes, 76 of Alliance left his weary body behind and took spiritual flight on September 20, 2015.  Ronald was born on July 7, 1939 in Wheeling, WV the son of the late Guy and Marguerite (Doman) Haynes. Ronald was raised in the alliance area and was a 1958 graduate of Sebring McKinley High School.  In December 1962 he married the love of his life, Connie Henderson; after a brief stint in the Air Force at Griffith Air Force in Rome, NY they resided in Alliance.  He had been employed at Alliance Machine Company and retired from Babcock and Wilcox Research with over 25 years of service. Papa’s family was his world and he was theirs.

He will be greatly missed by a daughter Christine (Jack) Keller of Ravenna, son Scott (Stephanie) Haynes of Alliance; 3 grandchildren; Carissa and Cameron Haynes of Alliance, Joshua Miller of Deerfield and her 3 great grandchildren, Caiden, Elliana and Tristan Miller and a sister Carol (Bill) Miller. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Connie Haynes and a brother Donald.

A funeral service will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek funeral home in Sebring on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 4:00PM with Rev. Steve Rhodes officiating. Friends and family may call the hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
