Aaron Sykora

Aaron Sykora, 37 of Raleigh, NC and formerly of the Alliance/West Branch area passed away Tuesday, morning August 9, 2011. Aaron was born on February 5, 1974 in Alliance to Arthur L. Sykora and Shirley (Yates) Vitale; he was a graduate of Alliance High School class of 1992 and was employed as a Manager for Harris Teeter Grocery Chain in Raleigh. Aaron loved restoring cars, painting, spending time with his family and friends especially Chad and Kevin and family, playing golf, researching family history and was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins. Survivors include his mother Shirley Vitale, his son Drake Austin Sykora of Hartville, his very special friend and companion Claudelle Julien of Raleigh, a sister Angela (Chris) Eggleston of Alliance, a brother Arthur Sykora Jr. of Canton, a sister Amy (Ron) Morgan of North Carolina, and a sister Andrea (George) Vernon of Salem. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews; Alyssa, Tara, Colin, Victoria, Abigail V’ronica, Stephanie, Nick, Hunter, Alex and Nathaniel; he was preceded in death by his father Arthur Sykora. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 15, 2011 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 11:00AM with Pastor Mark Reich officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-8PM with the family present from 6-8PM. Burial will take place in Grandview Cemetery in Sebring.
