Agatha (Selka) Marlo, 92 of North Benton passed away at her home on Monday, August 18, 2014. Agatha was born in Elyria, Ohio on September 9, 1921 the daughter of the late Anton and Anna (Shepherd) Selka. She attended the Oberlin School of Commerce and worked for Westinghouse and JoAnn Fabrics. Mrs. Marlo was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Sebring, a past member of ZONTA Womans Organization and enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling in their RV and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her children; a son Greg Marlo of Northfield, OH, a daughter Paula Hunter of Savannah, GA, a son Geoff (Gloria) Marlo of Beloit, a son Neil Marlo of Cape Coral, FL, a daughter Karen Marlo of North Benton, daughter Lisa Weiss of Northfield, OH, and a daughter Maria Marlo of Northfield. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; Christine Sigman, Geoffrey Marlo, Anthony Demos, Matthew Demos, Jason Marlo, and Betheny Marlo, 6 great grandchildren; Derek, Austin, Logan, Isabelle, MacKenzie and Cameron. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Howard E. Marlo on May 26, 2010 and a brother Lawrence Selka.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church on Thursday, August 21st at 1:00PM. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8 PM.
