Agnes Ruth Yaggi Kertes age 84 of Sebring, formerly of Homeworth, Ohio died at 1:50 p.m. Thursday March 27th at Aultman Hospital. She was born September 27, 1923 in Beloit to Irvin E. and Ruth I. (Scott) Yaggi. She was employed in the office at the Carrolton, Damascus, Canfield and North Bloomfield Livestock Auctions. Mrs. Kertes was a member of the Mile Branch Grange for over 50 years. She was a member of the Homeworth George D. Worth American Legion Auxilliary and the Alliance Chapter of the Disabled American Veterans Auxilliary. She also was an active volunteer at Copeland Oaks and Crandall Medical Center. Surviving are three sons: Thomas (Susan) of Alliance; David (Fawn) of Idaho; and Michael (Paula) of Avon Lake; sisters Lois Hofer of Homeworth, Ethel Bruderly of Alliance, and six grandchildren; Bill, Steve, Joe, Lindsey, Klint and Hannah and one great grandson Tucker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, on May 4, 1997, her parents, her stepmother Delilah Girard Yaggi Borton, her sister Mary Miller and Donna Swallow and brothers Leonard and Dale Yaggi. Funeral Services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Monday March 31st. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery.
