Albert Gene (Strait) Strait

Albert G. Strait, 84 of Alliance passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Community Care Center in Alliance. Albert was born on March 3, 1936, the son of the late William and Louella (McPherson) Strait. Albert was a jack of all trades and a master of many. However, his most favorite job was working at the Longaberger Company. He loved working with his hands, attending auctions and flea markets, collecting M&M and John Deere memorabilia, spending time with his dogs Snowy 1 and Snowy 2. But most important was spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife Ramona (Ward) Strait, his children; Cheryl (Dave) Nunez of IL, Darlene (Willie) Floyd of IL, Cheryl Strait of OH, Michele Coe of OH, Rhonda (Ronnie) Dawson Dickson of OH, Curtis (Lori) Strait of IL and Ronnie (Amber) Anderson of PA. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, a brother Thomas Strait, sisters Barbara (Gerald) Twaddle and Elaine (Tom) Woolf. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two sons Timothy Strait, Douglas Strait, a sister Dorothy Knapp and two brothers Herbert Strait and Bobby Blake.

A funeral service will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown funeral home in Sebring on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Jim McCurdy officiating. A time of visitation will be held two hours prior to the service on Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Burial will take place at Grandview Cemetery in Sebring.
