Alfred Cress

Alfred G. Cress, 83, of Beloit died at Alliance Community Hospital on Friday, March 6, 2009. Mr. Cress was born in Sebring on August 15, 1925 the son of the late Homer E. and Ethel (Newton) Cress. Alfred worked at American Steel and Royal China. Alfred is survived by three nephews and a niece. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers; George, Wilbur, Carl and Homer, three sisters; Juanita, Lovella and Hazel. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 10th at 11:00 AM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Kimball officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 6PM to 8PM and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Burial will be in Grandview cemetery.
