Alice Little

Alice Kay Little, 76 of Salem, passed away on December 3, 2014 at Salem Regional Medical Center. Alice was born in Salem on April 15, 1938 the daughter of the late Albert J. and Augustine K (Weber) Moser. Alice attended Damascus United Methodist Church, and enjoyed reading the word and sharing with her son Ed when not in church. She worked at the Smith Company in charge of catering, then was employed at Ohio Bell (Ameritech, Ameritech SBC and now ATT) for 38 years transitioning from operator to dispatch administrator before she retired; she was a very active person doing various woodworking, cross stitch, crocheting, sewing, ceramics and being outdoors, but most important to her was being a caregiver and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Rebecca A. Cassinger, Linda L. Stout and a son Edward B. Little all of Salem, 5 grandchildren; Jason, Todd, Craig, Brittany, Brandon and 8 great grandchildren with one on the way. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a son Albert Little in 1978.
Services will be held on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 11 AM at Damascus United Methodist Church with Pastor Bob Amey officiating. Friends may call at Brown Funeral Home in Salem on Sunday from 6 to 8PM and the hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Burial will take place at Salem Grandview Cemetery.
