"Together Again" Alice Elvina McCracken, 93 of Alliance, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at her home. Elvina was born in Knox Township, Ohio on November 25, 1916 the daughter of the late Ernest and Ada (Zurbrugg) Wuthrick. Mrs. McCracken was a member of the Westville Community Bible Church, where she enjoyed participating in many activities including the Ladies Missionary Society and the Golden Oldies; she also was a member of Farm Bureau. Survivors include her five daughters; Susan (David) Sweely of North Benton, Judy (Carl) Weisent of North Canton, Marilyn (Tom) Parker of Alliance, LaVonda (Larry) Smith of Lake Villa, IL, Lorena (Blaine) Howell of Kensington and a son Kenneth (Rebecca) McCracken of Salem. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Hugh E. McCracken on February 15, 1992, a sister Hazel Davidson, brother Ralph Wuthrick and a sister Catharine Roth. Services will be held on Monday, September 27, 2010 at 11AM at the Westville Community Bible Church with Pastor Rod Doran officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, Sept. 26th from 6-8 PM and the hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made in Elvina’s honor to the Westville Community Bible Church “Mission’s Fund”. Friends may send condolences and sign the guest register online at www.grfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home in Sebring.
