Allen "Al" Campbell

Allen E. “Al” Campbell, 71 of Beloit, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center in Canton. Al was born in Alliance on February 12, 1940; he graduated from Alliance High School and had worked as a Practical Nurse at Alliance City Hospital, he retired from American Steel Foundries and was the owner/operator of A.C. Brace in Alliance. Mr. Campbell was a Master Mason and belonged to Tadmor Shrine, he enjoyed square dancing and spending time with his friends. Survivors include his companion of 33 years Jean Moffett of Beloit and her children Kelley Moffett and Mark Gaver, a daughter Jodi Hampton of Florida, a sister Genny Roth of Waynesburg and a brother Scott Campbell of Texas. He is also survived by his favorite pet Chewey. Per his request arrangements include cremation with no services. Memorial contributions can be made in Al’s memory to the Alliance Shrine Club Transportation Fund. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
