Alma Margarite Cameron Burns, age 90, of Alliance died peacefully with family and friends at her side at 10:47 PM at the Bel Air Care Center on Sunday Feb. 11, 2007 She was born in Springfield, MO on May 25, 1916 to Joseph R. and Elizabeth (Leadbetter) Tindell. Alma was extremely active at the Alliance Senior Center, served as senior of the year along with her husband Bill Burns in 1998. She was an assembler/welder at the Alliance Genie Co. and formerly an employee of American Steel Foundry. She was a member of the American Legion Aux... Of Alliance, VFW of Alliance and Honorary Mom of the Dante/Steel Workers Retirees Club. She is survived by her stepsons William (Janet) Burns of Sebring; Stephen (Nancy) Burns of Jackson, MI; and stepdaughter Christine (Lee) McCammon of Beloit; sister Katherine Goblinger of Republic, MO; 10 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and 2 nieces Donna Kay Cross and Kimberly A. Jaworski both of Republic , Mo In addition to her parents she was preceded by her first husband Doyle W. Cameron; and second husband William Burns; stepdaughter Claudia Muniz; brothers Josh R. Tindell Jr. and Denver H. Tindell, and 3 infant sisters Funeral Services will be held at Gednets-Ruzek Funeral Home, Sebring, Ohio on Wednesday February 14, 2007 at 1:00 pm... Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alliance Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice, 885 S. Sawburg Ave. Alliance, Ohio 44601 Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home. Friends may view the obituary and sign the guest register on line at www.grfuneralhome.com.
