Alverta Irene Campbell, 93 of Alliance and formerly of Sebring passed away on Wednesday, November 09, 2011 at Alliance Community Hospital. Alverta was born in Sebring, Ohio on October 15, 1918 the daughter of the late Clarence B. and Grace C. (Durrant) Manning. She was a graduate of Sebring McKinley High School and worked as a nurses Aid at Alliance Hospital for eight years; she was an active member of the Sebring Presbyterian Church where she was a member of the choir and various other church activities. Alverta enjoyed knitting, crocheting, crossword puzzles, tending her flowers and bird watching. Survivors include her daughter Sue (Dave) Adair of Canfield, a son in law John Dennis of Sebring, 8 grandchildren Mark (Lindsay) Adair, Jeffrey (Lisa) Dennis, John “Brian” Dennis, Jill Dennis, Becky (Kyle) Billingsley, Julie (Jerome) Finley, Jerilyn (Bob) Dier. Jodi (Claire Rutherford) Royer, great grandchildren; Domonique, Cody, Lexi Noah, T.J., Morgan, Nicole, Taylor, Lucas, Johnnie and Gracin. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Campbell, a daughter Kay Royer, a daughter Grace Ann Dennis and a great grandchild Jasmine. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 11:00AM at the Sebring Presbyterian Church with Pastor Herb Goetz officiating. Friends may call at the church on Friday the hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit. Friends may send condolences and sign the guest register online at www.grfuneralhome.com. Memorial contributions can be made to The Alzheimer’s Association or the Sebring Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
