Anna Glasser

Anna Jean Glasser, 87 of Beloit, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring. Mrs. Glasser was born in Beloit on June 18, 1924 the daughter of the late George and Lela (Grove) Barnett; she retired from the US Postal Service and was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Sebring were she served on the Altar Rosary Society. Survivors include her children; Robert (Jo-Ann) Glasser of Salem, Barbara (Richard) Wyss of Beloit, Donald Glasser of Beloit, three grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Glasser in 2006, an infant brother Lloyd and a sister Helen Wolpert. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 11AM at St. Ann Catholic Church in Sebring. Friends may call at Gednetz-Ruzek funeral home on Friday the hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made in Anna’s honor to the St. Ann Altar Rosary Society or the Copeland Oaks Life Care Fund. Arrangements are pending at Gednetz-Ruzek funeral home in Sebring.
