Ardes Ruth Bauman, 60 of Salem passed away on Monday, October 25, 2010 after battling a long illness. Ardes was born in Salem on March 9, 1950 the daughter of James and Ruth (Green) Ziegler. Ms. Bauman graduated from Greenford Schools and attended Kent State University; she lived in Steubenville for 10 years before returning to Salem, she was employed at the Mahoning County One Stop for over 30 years; was a member of the Salem Square Wheels and was a Master Gardener Volunteer at Fellows Riverside Gardens. Survivors include her mother Ruth Ziegler of Salem, a daughter Eska (Jansen) Paumier of Salem, a son Randy Bauman of Salem, four grandchildren; Brennan Alan McKinney, Raena Airen McKinney, Ava Jolie Paumier and Morgan Parker Bauman all of Salem. She is also survived by her brother James Ziegler of Hawaii. A Private Family service will be held at Brown Funeral Home following cremation. A public service will be held at a later date.
