Areta "Sis" June Stutler

Areta “Sis” June Stutler, 73 of Sebring, passed away on May 11, 2015 at McCrea Manor of Alliance. Areta was born in Doddrige County, West Virginia on March 7, 1942, to the late Clarence & Maud (Miner) Ash.  She raised a family of four children and worked at Marathon gas station in Westville as the manager for 20 years as well as surrounding stores in the Sebring area.  Sis was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Beloit for 40 plus years.

Areta is survived by two sons, John “Rob” (Dee) Stutler of Sebring, Jeff “Bub” (Sue) Stutler of Homeworth, a daughter, Cindy (David) Townsend of Alliance; five grandchildren, Jeremy Stutler, Shawn (Steff) Stutler, Abby Townsend, Emily (Casey) Carlton, Cody Stutler; four great-grandchildren Emmarose & Violet Carlton, Ashton Stutler, and Gracie Stutler.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her special angel Tammy Stutler who passed away July 11, 1981, grandson Eric Stutler who passed away February 19, 1980, siblings, Bealuh Ferendo, Edward Ash, Pauline Whiting, Clarence Ash, Charles Ash, Betty Morris, Arline Suchon, Wilodean Nay and beloved sister Louise Stout who passed away May 3, 2015.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Fellowship Baptist Church at 12:00 pm with Pastor James White officiating.  Family and friends may call from 6-8 PM on Friday and the hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Burial will take place in Hartzell Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church 18320 5th Street, Beloit, OH 44609.
