Arlene Jean Martin Arlene Jean Martin 75, of Sebring, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 1st at 2:00 AM in the Alliance Communtiy Hospital ER. Arlene was born Dec. 26, 1930 in Bronx, NY to the late William & Margaret (Freeburg) Martin. She attended and graduated from the Bronx Vocational High School. Arelene was member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Homeworth. She loved to play Bingo but her greatest love was spending time with her family and grandchildren. Arlene married John B. Martin on Sept. 9, 1950 in Brooklyn, NY and celebrated their 56th anniversary this year. Together they had eight children; four daughters: Linda (Mike) Aquino of North Canton, Carol Bircher of Cleveland, Barbara (Mike) Scott of Beloit, Jeanne (Marty) Ruegg of Green, four sons: John (Ann) Martin of Austintown, Richard (Jacque) Martin of Vermilion, Robert (Lisa) Martin of Vermilion, David (Pam) Martin of Sebring, seventeen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by one brother William P. (Bernandine) Martin of Hudson, FL and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents, a sister Dorothy and her brother-in-law Warren Weingarten and brothers David and James Martin. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday Nov. 6th, 2006 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Pastor Robert I. Potter officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park.
