Arlyne R. Fetterolf, 74, of Beloit, passed away on November 27, 2013 at Auburn Hills in Salem. Arlyne was born on March 2, 1939 in New York City, NY, the daughter of the late Arthur Henry and Marlyn Floretta (Saich) Travers. Mrs. Fetterolf served in the US Navy as a lieutenant. She worked as a computer programmer for Babcock & Wilcox Research & Development. Arlyne was a member of the DAR Jane Bain Chapter where she served as treasurer; she enjoyed handwork, knitting, sewing, card embroidery and making blankets.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Robert N. Fetterolf whom she married on April 25, 1970. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Bruce Travers.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home on Monday December 2, 2013, officiated by Rev. Barbara Bansberg-Schied. A DAR Memorial Service will take place prior to the funeral at 10:30 AM. Friends may call from 2-6 PM on Sunday December 1, 2013 with the family present from 3-5 PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may send condolences and sign the guest register online at www.grfuneralhome.com.
