Barbara Carver

Barbara L. (Stanley) Carver, 81 of Sebring died Friday morning at Alliance Community Hospital. Barbara was born in Deerfield on December 27, 1927 the daughter of the late Thomas and Grace (Simpson) Stanley. Her life was devoted to spending time with her loving children and their families, she also enjoyed floral crafts. Mrs. Carver is survived by her husband Richard E. Carver whom she married on October 31, 1944 of Sebring, three daughters; Shirley (Richard) Etto of Sebring, Pat Bryan of Sebring and Debra (Paul) Ceresna of North Benton, six sons; Richard J. (Sue) of Orange City, FL, Ernest D. of Alliance, Maurice L. of Sebring, Gary R. (Terri) of Deerfield, Brian S. (Debbie) of Deerfield, and Loren K. Carver of Sebring. She is also survived by 37 Grandchildren, 54 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren and a sister Theeda Simeone of Niles. Besides her parents Barbara was preceded in death by 2 sons Ronald & Dennis carver, a daughter Karen Bailey, a sister Violet Weingart and 4 brothers; Ernest, Edward, Russell and Thomas Stanley. Services will be held on Monday, April 20, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Rev. Jody Hill officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-8 PM with the family present from 6-8 PM. Burial will be in Deerfield Cemetery. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek funeral Home.
