Barbara Mae Mitchell, 74, of Alliance died Monday morning February 9, 2009 at Community Care Center in Alliance. Barbara was born in Washington, Pennsylvania on March 29, 1934 the daughter of the late August and Anna (Moore) Hamilton. Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her three sons; John Mitchell, Alan (Brenda) Mitchell both of Salem and Ed Mitchell of Alliance, a daughter Carol (Richard) Weaver of Huntington, West Virginia, eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother Charles Hamilton of Washington, PA. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Okie Mitchell, a brother Benjamin Hamilton a grandson Justin and a granddaughter Ashley. Services will be held Thursday, February 12th at Brown Funeral Home at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tom Miller officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 11th from 2 â 8 PM with the family present from 6-8PM. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.
