Barbara Reynolds

Barbara J. Reynolds, 64 of Alliance passed away at her home on January 13, 2014. Barbara was born on August 3, 1949 in Salem, Ohio the daughter of the late Paul and Marie (Allison) Whitehead. Barbie retired from Lowe’s of Alliance two years ago after 10 years of service. She enjoyed being a homemaker, gardening, and wildlife. A devout Christian true to her Lord Jesus Christ for 32 years, she enjoyed spending time in her yard reading the bible.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, David John Reynolds whom she married on October 6, 1973; a daughter Lisa Summer of Alliance; two grandchildren McKenna and Cayden Summer; three sisters Virginia Faulkner of Salem, Sandra Owens of Alliance, Joyce Ann (Richard) Elliott of Rogers. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Shirley Uyselt, and brother Richard McClish.
A funeral service will take place at 12:00 PM on Friday January 17, 2014 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Nick Lindsay. Friends may call on Thursday January 16, 2014 from 6-8 PM and the hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park.
