Barbara Snyder

Barbara “Barb” A. Snyder, 57 of Alliance passed away at Aultman Hospital in Canton on May 3, 2014; she was born in Alliance on June 23, 1956 the daughter of Gerald H. and Dona J. (Hunt) Snyder. Barb resided at Altercare of Alliance for the last 5 years and built a special bond with many of the aides and residents there. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Alliance and was a big fan of the Cleveland Indians, playing cards, bingo, bird watching, building puzzles and John Wayne movies but her most important thing was to spend time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her father Gerald H. Snyder and his companion Linda Springer of Jefferson, GA, two sisters; Phyllis Snyder and her fiancé Ralph Rawlings of Alliance, Judy Edwards of Alliance and a brother in law Todd Edwards of Homeworth, a niece Krista (Jason Gobley) Hall of Deerfield, a nephew Michael Edwards of Alliance, great nieces and nephews; Kylee, Kyle and Kody all of Deerfield and Emilee of Madison, OH. Besides her mother she was preceded in death by her brother Steven Snyder. The family would like to thank Aultman MICU, the Alliance Hospital ER Staff, Altercare of Alliance, Jackie Miller and Brittany Braynt for giving Barb their love and support.
A Memorial Service will be held at Feed My Sheep Ministries in Alliance on Monday, May 12th at 3:00 PM with Pastor Bobby Williams officiating.
