Beth A. Carr, 46, of Sebring passed away on Friday, January 14, 2011 at her home. Beth was born in Salem on October 8, 1964 the daughter of Byron F. and Dorothy Faye (Brimlow) Huntington; she was a graduate of Sebring High School in the class of 1983, and also a graduate of the National Education Center School of Nursing in Norfolk, VA in 1993. Beth worked as a nurse at Family Medical Center in Alliance; she enjoyed going to cruise-ins with her husband and spending time with her family and friends but especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her parents of Westville, her husband Charles W. Carr Jr. whom she married on August 21, 1999 of Sebring, her two daughters; Jennifer Ray Hallums of North Olmsted, Stephanie Ray of Canton, two step daughters; Andrea Carr of Lisbon, Angela Binius of Alliance a step son Dustin Brooks of Sebring, a sister Susan Huntington-Day of Canton and a brother Larry Huntington of Orlando, FL. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren; Nadiya Hallums, Jayden Hallums, and 6 step grandchildren; Kira Carr, Connor Carr, Aaliyah Carr, Jade Binius, Tyler Binius, Bradley Witt and a niece Angela Kessel. Services will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Ray Harris officiating. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 6-8 PM. Memorial contributions can be made in Beth’s honor to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
