Betty Hoppes

Betty M. Hoppes, 92 of Alliance passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Aultman Woodlawn in Canton. She was born in Alliance on July 02, 1932, the daughter of the late Delmar and Bessie (McGillton) Peoples. She was worked as a Human Resource officer for Murphy Department Store in Alliance and then for First National Bank.

She is survived by a sister Bessie Walborn and several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Homer Hoppes, a daughter Anna and 11 other siblings.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Fairmount Memorial Park in Alliance.
