Betty Langties

Betty Carol Langties 82 , of North Benton passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on March 3rd. She was born September 21, 1925 in Sebring and was a 1943 graduate of Sebring High School. A daughter of Arthur and Crystal (McShane) Schroeder. She had a wonderful life as a farm wife and homemaker. She is survived by her husband Earl L. Langties, whom she married September 19, 1948. Her children Nancy Barnett (Toronto),Peggy Davis (North Jackson), Lee Langties (North Benton), Paula Ruggles (North Jackson), Kristina Bailey-Teets (Sebring), Joyce Langties (Beloit), Betsy Fiedler (Beloit), Her brother Art Schroeder and her sister Eileen Sweely. Betty has 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Preceding her in death are her parents, brother Bob Schroeder, sister Mary “Cotsy” Townsend and son Tim Langties Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March. 8 at 1:30 P.M. at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home in Sebring, with Pastor Mike Kimball officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Sebring.. Friends may call 30 minutes prior to the service. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
