Betty Mcdaniel

Betty L. McDaniel, 81, of Salem, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Essex II in Salem. Betty was born in Detroit, MI on July 13, 1929 the daughter of the late Charles and Wilma (Buford) Sweany; she worked at Mt. Union College in the Housekeeping Department. Survivors include her son Larry Dean (Dianne) Stout of Salem, two grandsons; Todd (Tiffany) Stout of Hanoverton, Tadd (Emily) Stout of Salem, a step granddaughter Christine Maguire of Rockwell City, IA, 3 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters; Bonnie Campbell and Barbara Diamond both of Salem. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by an infant brother. Services will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with pastor John Pierce officiating, friends may call at the funeral home the hour prior to the service.
