Billy Hanna

Billy E. Hanna, 71, of Canton passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Arbors of Canton. Billy was born in Jefferson County, Alabama, the son of the late Willis R. and Thelma L. (McAlpine) Hanna. Mr. Hanna was employed as a driver for KAT Inc. and was a US Army and National Guard Veteran. Survivors include his wife, Judith “Judy” M. (Cole) Hanna whom he married on May 18, 1990, three step-children; Matthew Cowger of Jefferson, Ohio, Jeannette Cowger of Canton, James Norman of Paris, Ohio and 5 step grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister Shelley Dake of Warrior, Alabama and a brother Bobby Hanna of Nash, Texas. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Phyllis Gutherie. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 26, 2009 at 3:00 PM at the Sebring Church of the Nazareen with Dr. Chester Harris and Rev. Mike Kimball officiating. Friends may call at the church on Monday the hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Highland Memorial park in Beloit.
