Bonnie S. (Haupt) Greenawalt, 68, of Homeworth passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 surrounded by her family and friends. Bonnie was born on September 19, 1950 in Alliance to Caroline (Burkey) Haupt and the late Billie Haupt. She was a graduate of Sebring McKinley High School and worked as a receptionist for West Wood Urgent Care and worked as a receptionist for Alliance Animal Hospital.
Bonnie was a member of Cornerstone Christian Church where she taught Sunday School, Bible Study and volunteered for Handy Camp and Elkhorn Valley Church Camps. She loved to volunteer at Mount Union Nature Center and Washington Elementary. In her free time she enjoyed camping, fishing spending time with her grand dogs, grandchildren and her family and friends.
Bonnie is survived by her husband Doug Greenawalt; children Tasha (Jonathon) Bloor and Shawn (Jen) Greenawalt; mom Caroline (Burkey) Haupt; brothers Ron (Mary Lee) Haupt and Jeff Haupt; grandchildren Riley and Addison Bloor ;many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Besides her father she was preceeded in death by a brother Lewie Haupt; father-in-law Paul Greenawalt and mother-in-law Elphy Greenawalt.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Rex Morey officiating. Friends and family will be received the hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Beloit, Ohio.
