Brenda L. Hostetler, 49, of Alliance, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Roselawn Terrace in Alliance surrounded by her family. Brenda was born in Canton on May 4, 1960 the daughter of the late Lela (Mann) and John Rudish, and was raised by her adoptive mother Linda Phillips. Brenda worked at Longaberger Baskets, the Carnation Basket Company, American Traditions and Mount Union College. She will be remembered for her floral design, cake decorating, love of gardening and the outdoors, reading inspirational books, riding motor cycles and traveling; but she especially enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren and family. Survivors include her husband Timothy V. Hostetler of Alliance whom she married on December 15, 2001, her 2 daughters Mandy (Michael) Chamberlain of Alliance, Emily (Levi) Muntean of Magnolia a son Christopher Young of Alliance, 10 grandchildren; Rachel, April, Joeseph, Jocelyn, Alexis, Jacob, Audrie, Michael, Rilee and Sarah. She is also survived by seven brothers and sisters; Mark, Dave, John, Debbie, Mary, Robyn, Chris and her first husband Jack Simon. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her 2nd husband Ron Young. Services will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 11:00 AM with Hospice Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
