C. Richard Chaddock

C. Richard Chaddock 92, of North Canton died Saturday morning at Mercy Medical Center in Canton. He was born April 14, 1914 in Canton to the late Richard & Dora M. (Elser) Chaddock. Richard was a 1936 honors graduate of The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy. He was employed as a pharmacist at Bowman Pharmacy and served as President of Bowman Pharmaceuticals until 1984; in 1985 he was the owner/operator of CRC Unit Formulas until his retirement. Richard served as President of the Tri-County Health Career Association in 1973, a member for over 60 years of the Canton Rotary Club where he was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow in 1992, a member of McKinley Lodge #431, 32nd degree Scottish Rite and Tadmor Shrine Center in Akron. He is survived by his two daughters Georgia (William) Bailey of North Canton, Carole (Dwight) Niederkofler of Canton and one grandson Geoffrey Bailey of North Canton. Besides his parents Richard was preceded in death by his wife Bessie (Kilgore) whom he married Sept. 1, 1948 and passed away in 1988. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 27th at 1:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home in Salem with Minister Lynn Shetzer of Trinity United Church of Christ officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery.
