Carl Cress

Carl F. Cress , age 91, of Beloit, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2006, at 9:10 AM, at McCrea Manor Nursing Center. He was born January 28, 1915 to the late Homer and Ethel May (Newton) Cress. Mr. Cress was a Potter-Kiln operator for several of the Sebring Potteries, he loved to play golf. He is survived by two brothers, Alfred and Wilbur Cress both of Beloit. Carl was preceded by his parents, four sisters Helen; Jaunita; Hazel and Luella and two brothers George E. and Homer Cress Jr.. Funeral services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at 1:00 P.M.with Rev. Mike Kimball officiating. visitation will be one hour prior to the service. .
