"Together Again" Carlos Bernard Smith age 76, went home to be with the Lord and his wife Donna Lee (Morrison) on July 8, 2008 at his home with his family and special friend Shirley Benner at his side. He was born May 5, 1932 in Huntington West Virginia to Okey and Lona (Stilner) Smith and he lived in Sebring most of his life. Carlos attended Sebring McKinley High School and retired from Babcock and Wilcox in 1981 at which point he dedicated himself to a business in antiquing and flea marketing. One of Carlos’ other pleasures was taking beach vacations with his family and friends. Survivors include his three children and six grandchildren; Karen Smith Dutko (Lindsey and Corey), of Virginia Beach, VA, Diane (Mark) Cross (Nathan and Kelly) of Lexington, KY, Steve (Terri) Smith (Nicholas and Clay) of Pasadena, MD , an aunt Marjorie Adams of Huntington, WV and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sisters; Betty (Burt) Hewitt and Virginia Campbell both of Alliance and a brother Carroll Smith of San Diego, CA. A Memorial Service will be held in Loving Memory of Carlos at the Sebring Presbyterian Church at 525 North 16th Street at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 12, 2008 with Rev. Pastor Joe Peters officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Carlos’ honor to the Alliance VNA/Hospice 885 South Sawburg, Alliance, OH 44601. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Aunt El Yaggi for all of her love and support. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
