Carol Maddix

Carol Ann Maddix, 69 of Mechanicstown, passed away at Alliance Community Hospital on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013. Carol was born in Akron, OH on December 21, 1943 the daughter of the late Samuel and Margaret Liphum; she was a graduate of Field High School and was the Co-Owner of Vick’s Furniture in Alliance. Mrs. Maddix was Lutheran by faith and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her husband Roy Maddix of Mechanicstown whom she married in May of 1987, a daughter Becky (Ken) McCracken of Damascus 2 grandchildren; Racheal Stoller and Kari Stoller (Jason) Forney and two great grandchildren Wyatt and Katelynn Forney and a brother Bruce Liphum of Limaville. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Thomas F. Vickery, a son Thomas Vickery II and a sister Peggy Hale.
