Carole Byers

Carole Faye Byers, 62 of Homeworth died Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at her home surrounded by her family. Carole was born in Evansville, Indiana on June 17, 1947 the daughter of the late Bejamin J. and Dorothy Faye (Maxwell) Bonura. Carole was an avid bowler and loved to travel to West Virginia to visit with family and friends, however she most enjoyed spending her free time with all of her grandchildren. Mrs. Byers is survived by her husband Donald E. Byers whom she married on November 26, 1965, three daughters; Shawn and her fiancée (Dave) Hott of Alliance, Kristen (Bob) Weekly of Sebring, Jennifer and her fiancée (Chris) Byers of Alliance, a son Donald and his fiancée (Lisa) Byers Jr. of Philippi, West Virginia, 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and her Jack Russell Minnie. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at Middle Sandy Presbyterian Church in Homeworth with Pastor Tom Sawyer officiating.
