Catherine "Kate" Cavallo

Catherine “Kate” Cavallo age 72, of North Benton, died at 10:43 a.m., Monday, April 28, 2008, at Alliance Community Hospital. She was born in Jeannette, PA on Feb. 2, 1936 the daughter of Timothy F. and Helen (Robinson) Geiger. Kate was of the Catholic faith. She was employed as a seamstress in the fabric Dept. of the former O’Neil’s. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary where she was very involved in the dinners and the Deerfield Civic Assoc., the Leisure Ladies and Lassies. Kate was also involved in Monday Night Bingo in Deerfield, and in the Deerfield Rutitans. Kate and her husband had the honor of being picked as King Arthur & Queen Catherine. She is survived by her four sons, Timothy and John Uncapher both of North Benton; Gregory Uncapher of Hobe Sound, FL and Steven Uncapher of Jacksonville, FL.; one daughter Shellie Uncapher of Akron; three stepsons Charles Cavallo and; David Cavallo both of Bridgeport WV and Gregory Cavallo of Monroe Falls. She also leaves behind 29 grandchildren; 10 Great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Cavallo was preceded in death by; her husbands John J. Uncapher Jr. and Arthur W. Cavallo who passed away on May 4, 2000 a daughter Jessie Uncapher, step daughter Patricia Washington, granddaughter Alicia Briseno and grandson Blue Kartak. Services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home, Friday, May 2, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Mike Seifert officiating.. Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Hartzell Cemetery.
