Charles A. Gilmore II, 68, of Lisbon passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021 in Salem. He was born in Clarington, Ohio on May 24, 1953 the son of Charles A. Gilmore and Gladys (Cline) Rowe. He was formerly employed at Carter Lumber and the former Specialty Fab. He was a member of VFW Post 4111 and Eagles Aerie 2216. Charles enjoyed golfing, fishing and socializing with his friends. However most important was spending time with his family.
Survivors include; a son Charles A. Gilmore III of Lisbon, a daughter Nicole Thompson of Lisbon, a daughter Teresa (William) Welsh of Salem, a daughter Tammy (Christopher) Nunez of Austin, TX and a son David (Carree) Gilmore of Dayton. He is also survived by his siblings; Karen (Ronald) Yarwood, Phillip (Heather) Gilmore, Tracey (Carol) Gilmore, sister in law Nancy Gilmore and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Charles was preceded in death by his father, his wife Debra K. Gilmore and a brother Floyd Gilmore.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 7, 2021 at the Lisbon VFW in the McKinley Room from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Friends and family may sign the guest register and send condolences online at www.brownfhonline.com. Arrangements were entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, Salem, Ohio (330) 337-6363.
