Charles Crawford Lockner III, 58, of Alliance, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2013 at his home. Charles was born in Salem, Ohio on February 8, 1955, the son of the late Charles C. and Dorothy Mae (Yeagley) Lockner II. Mr. Lockner was a US Army veteran and worked for Best Buy and Zeps Pizza. He was a member of Grace Chapel Church in Minerva; he enjoyed going fishing, going to auctions, and spending time with his family especially his grandkids. Survivors include his wife, Doris Jean (Gandee) Lockner of Alliance whom he married on November 4, 1989, a son Anthony Dale Charles Lockner, a daughter Crystal Marie Lockner of Alliance; four grandchildren. He is also survived by his three brothers Don Ring of Sebring, Gary (Penny) Lockner of North Benton, Gregory (Maryann) Lockner of Texas and four sisters, Dorothy Hope (Jeff) Votaw of Sebring, Maryann (Roy) Gowen of Beloit, Nancy (Guy) Taylor of Alliance,and Karen Sue (Lynn) Davis of Oregon. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Carol J. Johnson, a brother Gayle Lockner and a sister-in-law Linda Ring. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday July 2, 2013 at 7:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home. Friends may call the two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Military honors provided by Salem Honor Guard. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home. Friends may send condolences and sign the guest register online at www.grfuneralhome.com.
