Charles Oldfield

Charles R. Oldfield, 75, of Beloit, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2009 at Altercare of Alliance. Charles was born in Sebring on December 18, 1934 the son of the late George and Bessie (Lang) Oldfield; he was a US Army Veteran and retired from the American Steel Foundry in Alliance. Charles was a member of the American Legion Post #76 and the VFW # 6730, he enjoyed fishing and photography. Survivors include his son Steve (Brenda) Oldfield of Alliance, a daughter, Joyce Oldfield of Sebring and six grandchildren; Todd (Cindy) O’Hara of Beloit, Adam (Angie) O’Hara of Sebring, Michael Duchon (Paula) of Louisville, Daniel Oldfield (Kristin) of Canton, Allison Oldfield (Jon) of Alliance, Dakotah Oldfield of Akron and 3 great grandchildren; Ashton O’Hara, Aiden Oldfield and Aleczander O’Hara. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son Richard on July 6, 1989 and a grandson Jeremy Charles in August of 1988. Services will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 12:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Kimball officiating. Friends may call the hour prior to the service.
