Charles E. Puckett Sr., age 78, of Sebring, passed away on Wednesday March 14, 2007 at his residence. He was born in Moorehead, KY on Feb. 26, 1929, the son of the late Louie and Gladys (Mabry) Puckett. Retired from the East Ohio Gas Co., Charles was a member of the Calvary Pentecostal Church in Sebring, an ordained minister, a member of the American Legion, and a former member of the Alliance Police Reserve and the Ohio Civil Defense Corps. Charles is survived by his wife Blanche E. (Hill) whom he married Sept. 4, 1951; two daughters Shirley (Larry) Gibbons and Kathy (Mark) Strabala both of Sebring; six sons, Harold (Carla) Court of Homeworth; Charles (Linda) Puckett Jr. of Salem; John (Kim) Puckett of Alliance; Kerry Puckett of Canton; Randy & companion ( Phyllis) Puckett of Homeworth; sister Juanita Binius of Alliance and two brothers Grant âJackâ Harrington of Ewa Beach, HA and Freddie Puckett of Alliance; 18 grand children and 28 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded by his son Danny on February 16, 1990 and sister Ruby Hill. Services will be held at the Calvary Pentecostal Church, 206 W. Maryland Ave. Sebring, Ohio, on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Scott Mikesell officiating. Friends may call at the Church, Friday from 2:00 to 9:00 pm with family present 7 -9 pm, also one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park.
