Charles Sweely, age 79, of North Benton, died at his home at 9:20 PM, on Feb. 10, 2007. He was born in Salineville, Ohio on June 9, 1927 to Howard and Gerene (Weber) Sweely. Charles was employed as a Kiln Drawer for the Royal China Pottery and was a member of the potters union. He is survived by his son Lawrence Sweely of Sebring, granddaughter Tammy Michele Murray of Sebring and grandson Michael J.D.Sweely who is presently a policeman in Afghanistan 5 brothers Ronald of Alliance; David of North Benton; Matthew of Salem Patrick of Sebring and John of Monroe NC; 3 sisters Alice Johnson of Sebring; Martha Barringer of Beloit and Anada Phyllis of Beloit. Charles was preceded by his parents; Brother Mivan Sweely and Sister Flo Augustein. A private family service was held Monday Feb. 12, 2007 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Mike Kimball officiating. Arrangements were by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home. Friends may sign the guest register on line at www.grfuneralhome.com.
