Chelsea "Sonny" Ward Jr

Chelsea “Sonny” T. Ward Jr., 83, of North Benton and formerly of Sebring, passed away Friday morning at Alliance Community Hospital. Sonny was born in Sebring on February 9, 1926 the son of the late Chelsea T. Ward Sr. and Olive E. (Hopkins) Ward. Survivors include his two sisters; Viola (Bill) Stockburger, Rachael (Dale) Witherspoon, and a brother Jack Ward all of Alliance, he is also survived by several nieces and nephews and will be sadly missed by the Morrow family of North Benton with whom he resided. Besides his parents Chelsea was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Ward. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday October 12, 2009 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 11:00 AM, visitation will be for the hour prior to the service.
