Cherie Morrison

Cherie Louise Morrison, 36 of Sebring, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital in Andover, Ohio. Cherie was born in Salem on July 1, 1975 the daughter of Gene and Shirley (Barnes) Morrison; she was a graduate of Sebring McKinley High School and will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother and friend. Survivors include her mother Shirley J. Morrison of Alliance, her daughter Marisa Lynn Morrison Kirksey of Sebring, her half sister Linda Morrison of Sebring and her long time friend Scott Kirksey of Columbus. Cherie will also be greatly missed by her aunts, cousins and many friends; she was preceded in death by her father, Gene, a half brother Dennis “Skeeter” Morrison, her grandmother Louise Barnes, an aunt Esther Hickerson, an uncle Donald Barnes and a cousin Angie Weidow. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 12, 2011 at 7PM at Gednetz-Ruzek funeral home in Sebring with Pastor Peggy Hawkins officiating.
