Cheryl L. (Baddeley) Starks
Cheryl Lee (Baddeley) Starks, 57, of Lakeland, Florida and formerly of Sebring, OH died peacefully January 7, 2014 at Tampa General Hospital following a stroke. Born in Alliance, Ohio on December 17, 1956 she was the daughter of James A. and Ida Mae (Foley) Baddeley Sr. She was a graduate of Sebring McKinley High School in 1975 and worked many years as a secretary at different companies including Modern China in Sebring and Rain Soft in Lakeland, Florida. Cheryl also worked as a dispatcher for the Sebring Police Department. IN her spare time she loved to do crafts and enjoyed going to garage sales and Flee Markets with her husband.
Survivors include her husband Carl Red Starks whom she married in March of 1993, her mother of Sebring, a sister Ida Mae (Vern) Harnage of Winter Haven, FL, four brothers James (Rebecca) Baddeley Jr. of Tega Cay, SC, Ed (Janet) Baddeley Sr., Dan (Betty) Baddeley Sr. and Mike Baddeley all of Sebring and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, a brother Franklin Owen Baddeley and a great nephew Cole Pennini.
A funeral service will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek funeral home in Sebring on Monday, January 13th at 1:30 PM. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.
