Christine Ann (Roberts) Maruskin

Christine Ann Maruskin, 64, passed away September 30, 2021 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, Wyoming. She was a resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming. Christine was born on January 3, 1957 in Alliance, Ohio; the daughter of Kenneth and Ida (Cummings) Roberts. She attended schools in Sebring, Ohio and graduated with the class of 1975. Christine married John Maruskin on November 23, 1991 in Green River, Wyoming. She worked for Finer Cleaners for 15 years as a seamstress, First Security Bank and also Wyoming Financial Services for over five years as well. Christine was a member of the American Slovak Club when she and her husband lived back east and she played a roll in starting the Cleveland Browns Backer Club in Rock Springs. She was a member of the Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time watching sports; she liked football, basketball and baseball. She was very fond of fishing, boating, bowling, and she loved dogs.

Christine is survived by her husband John Maruskin of Rock Springs, WY; father Kenneth Roberts of Sebring, Ohio; as well as five cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother Ida Roberts.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home in Sebring with Pastor Fred Higgins officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Friday the hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit.
