Clifford Ray Trainer

Clifford Ray Trainer, 52 of Alliance passed away at his home on Saturday, September 19, 2015 surrounded by loved ones.  Cliff was born in Alliance on December 27, 1962, the son of the late Herbert and Jacqueline (Ferguson) Trainer.  He was a 1982 graduate of Alliance High School and worked for as a driver for SARTA. Prior to that, he worked at Alliance Castings and the Pepsi Cola Company for several years.

Survivors include his son Michael Trainer; daughter Morgan Trainer; a sister Tammy Trainer and brothers Jim Trainer and Troy (Tammy) Trainer.  Cliff also leaves behind his companion Shelly Milburn, her daughter Mikayla, and many nieces, nephews, and other loved family members.

Cliff was well known for his skills on the court as a member of the winning AHS basketball team, but he was even more known and loved for his great sense of humor and ability to bring joy and laughter to everyone he met.  He will sadly be missed by all the lives he touched on his time here on Earth.

A Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Gednetz-Ruzek funeral home.  Friends may call Wednesday September 23, 2015 from 6-8 pm and the hour prior to the service on Thursday from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm at the funeral home.  Interment will take place in Highland Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in Cliff’s honor to Alliance VNA/Hospice 885 S. Sawburg Ave. Ste. 106, Alliance, OH 44601.
