Cordell Higgins

Cordell B. Higgins, 46, of Sebring, died Friday morning December 4, 2009 in the Alliance Community Hospital Emergency Room. Cordell was born in Alliance on May 25, 1963 the son of Ivan and Roberta (Baddely) Higgins; he graduated from West Branch High School in the class of 1982 and was a US Marine Corps Veteran. Cordell was a member of the VFW in Alliance Post 66, and the Sebring American Legion Post 76; he worked at RSI Manufacturing and was the Co-Owner of the Hair Department in Sebring. Survivors include his wife Darlene (Eberling) Higgins whom he married on September 19, 2008 of Sebring, his father Ivan Higgins of Sebring, his mother Roberta of Alliance, two sons; Josh R. Hines and Colton R. Higgins, a daughter Cheyenne E. Higgins and a step son Barry (Holly) Schroeder all of Sebring a step daughter Nicole Amabeli of Ravenna and a granddaughter Caidee A. Schroeder of Sebring. He is also survived by two sisters; Trina Higgins of Alliance, Teresa Shields of Sebring, two brothers Clancy O. (Lynn) Higgins of Alliance and Clint A. (Lisa) Higgins of Sebring. He was preceded in death by a brother Casey R. Higgins in February of 1991. Services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 8, 2009 with Rev. Tammy Butcher officiating. Friends may call on Monday from 2-8 PM with the family present from 6-8 PM. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park.
