Dale Cameron

July 29, 1925 — September 8, 2014


Dale R. Cameron 89 of Homeworth passed away on Monday, September 8, 2014 at Community Care Center. Dale was born in Alliance on July 29, 1925 the son of the late Perry and Louise (Miller) Cameron. He was employed for 30 years at Alliance Machine and the m worked an additional 10 at AJ Oster Foils. Dale was a member of the First Immanuel United Church of Christ in Alliance where he was a Head Usher and member of the Consistory for many years. Mr. Cameron enjoyed repairing many thing including cars as well as the upkeep and maintenance of his property.
Survivors include his son Dennis (Teree) Cameron of Homeworth, a daughter Susan (Neal) Mann of Alliance, 7 grandchildren; Jeremy (Tawny) Cameron of Zanesville, Ethan (Amy) Cameron of Minerva, Seth (Alishia) Cameron of San Mateo, CA, Perry (Kim) Mann, Caleb Mann, Eli Mann and Taylor Mann all of Alliance, 6 great grandchildren; Tre Cameron, Kobe Cameron, Gracie Weaver, Brinley Mann, Declan Mann and Silas Mann. He is also survived by two sister-in-laws, Dorothy Burkhart of Homeworth and Bernice Conrad of Alliance. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Doris (Waffler) Cameron whom he married on Feb 17, 1946 and died on January 1, 2014 and a sister Janice Kuntzman. The family would especially like to thank the caring staff of Community Care for all they did for Dale.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 1:00 PM with Pastor Neal Mann officiating. Friends may call the hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made in Dale’s honor to; First Immanuel United Church of Christ in Alliance. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home, Sebring, OH (330) 938-2526.
