Dale Malmsberry

Dale J. Malmsberry, 86, of 12820 Malmsberry Rd. Beloit, passed away Wednesday morning at his home. He was born July 9, 1919 in Salem, OH, the son of the late Loran G. and Edna M. (Phillips) Malmsberry. Mr. Malmsberry was a member of the East Goshen Friends Church and was a lifelong farmer. His loving wife, Jean (Weingart) whom he married June 15, 1941, preceded him in death Sept. 11, 2002. Survivors include; His son Phillip (Lynda Callahan) Malmsberry of Damascus and his granddaughter, Amy Kaye and great grandson Jonas, granddaughter Beth Hall and great granddaughters Courtney and Brittany, his son Scott (Cheryl) Malmsberry of Louisville and grandchildren Stephanie, Luke and Debra, his daughter Sandra (Wayne) Cameron of Beloit and granddaughter Trisha Schroeder and great grandchildren Seth and Ali, a grandson Jason Cameron and great grandson Jarod, a grandson Andrew Cameron and great granddaughter Lachlan, a daughter Joan (Ted) Schaefer of Beloit, a grandson Daren and great granddaughter Shiann and a grandson Kevin, a daughter Pamela Best of Salem and grandson Jack Cunningham Jr. and granddaughter Paula Cunningham, a daughter Peggy (Ron) Peters of Salem a granddaughter Christine Fultz and great granddaughter Ariana and granddaughter Veronica Peters. He is also survived by his sister Dorthy “Dot” Riley of Beloit. Dale was also preceded in death by his granddaughter Lydia Malmsberry a brother Virgil Malmsberry and sister Olive Lora. Funeral Services will be held at East Goshen Friends Church on Friday, March 17th at 1:00pm with Pastor Jason Harsh officiating, friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in East Goshen Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Salem Humane Society or the charity of the donor’s choice.
