David Bullis

David Lee Bullis, 69, of North Benton passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at his home. David was born in Salem on June 8, 1942 the son of the late George and Vallaise (Hoyle) Bullis. Mr. Bullis was a US Navy Veteran and worked as an electrician; he was a member of the North Benton Presbyterian Church where he served as a Deacon and Elder of the Church; David also enjoyed making different types of Artwork, Painting and Sculpting and was a former member of the Balsa Bees. Survivors include his three children Jeremy Bullis of New York City, Jennifer (Tyler) Steele of Columbus, and Jared Bullis of Austin, TX, a sister Shirley Bullis of North Benton and a granddaughter Vera Paisley Steele of Columbus. Services will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 6:00 PM at the North Benton Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jim McCurdy officiating, per David’s request people are encouraged to dress casually. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday the hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made in David’s honor to the Alliance VNA/Hospice, North Benton Presbyterian Church or the Alliance Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
