David W. Hendershott, 93, of Sebring and formerly of Beloit, passed away early Monday, morning July 25, 2011 at Alliance Community Hospital. David was born in Cadiz, Ohio on May 27, 1918 the son of the late John W. and Mary (Lee) Hendershott; he graduated from Cadiz High School in the Class of 1936 and was a US Army WWII Veteran. Mr. Hendershott worked as a precision grinder at the B&W Keystone Plant retiring in 1980; he was a member of the Bethel United Church of Christ and the Homeworth Masonic Lodge #499. Survivors include a brother John (Miriam) Hendershott of Alliance, a stepson James Mills of Austintown and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his 1st wife Doris M. (Stanley) on January 20, 1992 and his second wife Ruby L. (Bates) Mills on July 12, 2008. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Rev. Alecia Schroedel officiating.
