David G. Williams, 86, of Beloit passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Crandall Medical Center. David was born in Salineville, Ohio on January 3, 1936 to the late John R. and Nellie (Beadnell) Williams. David worked as a truck driver for Quaker Manufacturing in Salem, Ohio. He was a member of Vine Street United Methodist Church serving on the Staff Parish Relationship committee as a Trustee and also served as a long time Usher. David enjoyed playing softball, attending his grandchildren's sporting events especially watching track meets. He enjoyed to putter around the house and would always be willing to help anyone in need.
David is survived by his children Keven (Beth) Williams and Kyle Williams; a sister Geraldine (Duane) Martin; five grandchildren Kara (Josh) Frank, Matthew Williams, Trey Williams, Braddin (Ryan) Steed and Emmi Williams; one great-grandson Remington Frank and another one on the way. Besides his parents David was preceded in death by his wife Avon (King) Williams; three brothers Merle, Donald and Marvin Williams; a sister Darlene Beeson and a daughter-in-law Melissa Williams.
A funeral service will take place on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Vine Street United Methodist Church with Pastor Rebecca Evanoff officiating. Friends and family will be received on Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Bunker Hill Cemetery.
